Chasing design, the Lake Como Design Fair

Right after our visit to the great London Design Festival, we travelled to an amazing location for interior design, the Lake Como.

Interior designers in Como can find unique Villas around the Lake, with interiors ranging from the ‘800 to more modern villas with more contemporary interior design.

Therefore the Lake of Como Design Fair is a perfect occasion to celebrate design in a location where interior design and architecture is at its best.

Based at the Palazzo del Broletto and Teatro Sociale, the fair is at its second year.

Although the fair has a big neighbours, such as the Salone del Mobile, the Lake Como Design Fair is attracting a lot of people.

The exhibitions revive the interiors of these two great palaces using very colourful interior accessories and furniture.

An euphoric and policrome ambient, thought in order to involve the visitors, it’s a unique inspiration for interior designers and architects here in Como.

One of the greatest thing of the exhibition was that there were no stands, no brands or labels in all the rooms.

The colour is used in different ways, with some very decorative pieces.

Some of these were P.O.P. by Zaven, the Mutant Series by Claudio Colucci or the group seats Torre Sfumata by Alban Le Henry.

Others worth to mention are Slide Mirro by Minale Maeda, Sole Carpet by Matteo Pellegrino or Risma by Gianluigi Landoni.

All these pieces would work perfectly for an interior design scheme in a villa on the Lake Como.
